Estimated Tax Bills Have Been Sent To Residents

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Burlington County Board of Taxation has been unable to certify a new tax rate by the statutory mailing date.  As required by law, Town Council passed Resolution #2020-R-84 directing the Tax Collector to prepare, complete and mail estimated and reconciled tax bills in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4-66.3.

Your 3rd Quarter tax bill is an estimated bill based on the adopted budgets of the county, municipality and school district. A reconciled bill will then be mailed on September 30th, 2020; the 4th quarter tax bill will include final tax rates certified by the County Tax Board and will result in the correct payment by deducting the payments made in previous installments.
