There may be delays in today’s trash collection due to operational issues beyond control of the trash haulers.  Trash NOT picked up today will be picked up tomorrow, Saturday, May 30th.  Thank you for your understanding.

Effective Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 and in exercising an abundance of caution, the Township of Maple Shade Municipal Building will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC until further notice. Municipal Staff will continue to be working, however will only be available by telephone at (856) 779-9610 or email during regular business hours 8:30AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday.

SOLID WASTE COLLECTION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

GRASS CLIPPINGS/YARD DEBRIS COLLECTION:

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE GRASS CLIPPINGS AND/OR YARD DEBRIS IN ANY TRASH CANS OR TOTES!

At this time, Solid Waste Collection will remain on its normal collection schedule; however, the following restrictions are being enforced:

Mattresses and box spring should be placed in mattress/box spring bags which are available online or at home improvement stores.

All fabric items such as, but not limited to, couches, chairs, love seats, etc. MUST be wrapped in plastic.

All wood furniture such as, but not limited to, tables, chairs, scrap wood pieces should also be wrapped in plastic.

All solid waste MUST be contained in trash bags.

Please be sure all trash bags are tied securely.

Trash that is loose at the curb or loose in trash receptacle will NOT be collected.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Working together as to not increase the risk of exposure to anyone is our highest priority at this time.
