SOLID WASTE COLLECTION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

(updated April 1, 2020)

At this time, Solid Waste Collection will remain on its normal collection schedule; however, the following restrictions are being enforced:

Items such as mattresses, box springs, cushions, small bulk items, etc. MUST be bagged or covered in plastic.  ALL wood furniture items should also follow the same instructions and be bagged or covered in plastic.  Any larger items that cannot be bagged or covered in plastic will not be picked up until the state restrictions are lifted.

All trash bags, whether placed in a trash receptacle or directly at the curb, MUST be tied as to not increase the risk of exposure from solid waste. Trash that is loose at the curb or loose in a trash receptacle will not be collected.

We greatly appreciate you assisting us in keeping everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
